But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. Romans 10:8-10
The greatest story ever told is Jesus' story. He is the son of God, born of a virgin and sent to the earth to be a Savior for mankind. He died on a cross and was resurrected on the third day but the power of God. He ascended to Heaven and will return to take us to be with Him for eternity. And He did all this because of love.
This is the greatest story ever told, but it's not a fiction story. Jesus died for you and for me. He loves you so much that He gave His live to save us for not only Hell, but restore us back to the Father. He loves you. He wants to be in a relationship with you.
This is not about church attendance or giving up all the fun in your life. It's about starting the greatest love relationship you will ever experience. Jesus loves you and His love gives meaning to all that we do and say. Without Jesus, life is empty.
So add your name to the story of Jesus. Accept Him as your Lord and Savior. It's really simple. Just pray the following prayer:
Jesus, I believe that Your are the Son of God. I believe you died for me on the cross so that I could have eternal life. Please, wash away my sins and write my name in the Book of Life. I commit my life to You. Amen.
