Terri J. Haynes, born in
Being what she calls a “pew baby,” Terri has been in church all her life. She wrote many poems and sermons for youth department events. She tried her hand at fiction when she went to high school and dreamed of being the next Stephen King.
After she graduated from high school, she married her best friend and recent Army recruit, Abrian Haynes. Terri had incredible opportunities as an army wife. Shortly after her wedding, she moved from
Terri has extensive knowledge of the inner workings of the church. She has served as an assistant treasurer, Bible study teacher, newsletter editor, children’s event coordinator, undershepherd and praise and worship singer. She has been a church secretary twice; once at a church of 100 and once at a 3000 member church. Terri and her husband head Joshua Generation, a ministry for young adults ages 18-35. She is also an altar worker and is in leadership in the women’s ministry at her church.
Terri earned her Associate in Religious Studies from
Terri’s took a great leap forward when she participated in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). With God’s help, she conquered her concerned about being a novelist completed her first novel in 30 days. She is in the process of editing that novel for publication. Terri is also a member and Mid-Atlantic Capital Metro and Western Maryland Area Coordinator for America Christian Fiction Writers.
Terri is also a graphic designer and loves to craft. She knits, crochets, beads and wants to add scrapbooking and quilting to her skills. An avid reader, a good day for her is spent in the library or Borders. She now resides in
